The ValuGaps Summer School took place from July 8th to July 13th, 2024, on the scenic Isle of Vilm, Germany.

Twenty participants from across Europe were selected from a large pool of applicants to join this unique learning experience.

Throughout the week, members of the ValuGaps consortium delivered insightful lectures, and participants engaged in hands-on exercises during breakout sessions. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to present their ongoing projects. Beyond the academic activities, they also enjoyed spectacular excursions around the Isles of Vilm and Rügen.

For more details about the summer school and its program, please visit the International Academy for Nature Conservation Isle of Vilm website.

Even after the event concluded, many participants have remained in touch, continuing to collaborate on projects that were sparked during this enriching experience.
