Outreach at the 5th ESP Europe Conference

The conference, themed Ecosystem Services: One Planet, One Health, brought together scientists, researchers, and professionals from various fields to share knowledge and foster collaboration.

Veronika Liebelt (BfN) gave a talk on the valuation of urban greenery in German cities during the session ‚Making Nature Count—Monetary Valuation and Meta-Analytic Value Transfer Functions‘. During the poster session, Marie Meemken (iDiv, Ecol) showcased a poster on the influence of urban nature and urban stressor exposure on human health and wellbeing.

The conference provided an opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas on ecosystem services and their role in local and global contexts.
